And in truth, the neighbourhood hasn’t changed much since: children still play on the grass, in the park, and at the playground behind the Kruiskerk. The community is warm and welcoming, with friendly neighbours, street gatherings, and the well loved Elsrijk festival. At the same time, it’s a peaceful place where you can hear the birds singing.

There are plenty of shops nearby, and Amsterdam is just a short bike ride away — practical and convenient.
